Ballito

Ballito is on the Kwazulu Natal North Coast. It's popularity has grown dramatically over the past few years due to its upmarket estates, restaurants and shopping centres. Durban

Hillcrest

Hillcrest was a sleepy village located - as the name suggests - on a rise along the main road from Durban to Pietermaritzburg.  Hillcrest was used as a farming or 'weekend' village then still a good distance from the emerging port in Port Natal. As part of the outer west suburbs of Durban, it is a great area for families and also has a slightly cooler climate than the main centre of Durban.  The town celebrated their centenary in 1995 and has seen an incredible increase in inhabitants migrating from more central areas in Durban.

Kloof

The work 'kloof' means 'gorge' in Afrikaans, named for the deep gorge created by the Molweni stream (stream of high cliffs).  This area is predominantly English speaking and features many up market shopping centres.  It is known as the mist belt with winding roads and tree-surrounded mansions.  The elevation of 550m removes Kloof from the Durban humidity and heat, making it a favoured location. Perfect for families, this suburb is well known for its good schools and outdoor living environment with plenty natures reserves.

Mount Edgecombe

Mount Edgecombe is a gated community in KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa, situated just north of Durban, which forms part of eThekwini, the Greater Durban Metropolitan. It is famous for golf and includes a retirement home for the elderly. It was previously a sugar growing area.  The population increased by 89% between 2001 and 2011.  The name is derived from the Earl of Mount Edgecombe in Cornwall, United Kingdom.
